Bug Report Guidelines
To help us identify and fix chemistry calculation errors quickly, please include:
- The calculator name (e.g., "Molar Mass Calculator", "pH Calculator")
- The input you entered (chemical formula or numerical values)
- The result ChemCalc showed
- The correct result and your source or method for verifying it
- Your browser and operating system
For molar mass discrepancies, citing the IUPAC source for the atomic masses you're using helps us resolve issues much faster.
Feature Request Process
We prioritize new chemistry calculators based on student and educator demand. When requesting a new tool, describe the type of chemistry problem it would solve and which course level it's most relevant to (e.g., general chemistry, organic, physical chemistry). This helps us make sure new tools are genuinely useful. We'll respond to every request.
Response Time
Most messages receive a reply within 1–2 business days. We read every message, even when an in-depth reply isn't possible for every one.
